I'm Christabel, and my professional experience has included all levels of care including palliative care with a focus on engagement, memory support, behavioral/mental health, and education and leadership. I have certifications with the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals, the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners, and the International Council for Certified Dementia Practitioners. I strive to serve and help people caring for others through compassionate care, empathy, and servant leadership.
My Story
For over 20 years, I have worked with all levels of care, including nursing homes, rehab centers, palliative care, and senior living communities. I am proud to be certified as an NCCAP MEPAP Instructor, NCCDP Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Trainer, ICCDP Montessori for Dementia Care Trainer, Dementia Care Manager, Dementia Practitioner, and Remotivation Instructor.

I've had the pleasure of presenting both in-person and online to many groups across the country, such as the National Association of Activity Professionals (NAAP), the Pennsylvania Activity Professional Association (PAPA), My love for helping others has been recognized through opportunities including leading an international webinar for CoWe-Best and participated on a panel on mental health for NAAP's National Conference, representing long-term care.
I have the pleasure of serving on the Development Council for Webinar Education & Outreach for the National Association of Activity Professionals. I strive to help older adults, their families, and activity/health care partners through compassionate care, training, and servant leadership.
