Caregiving is like tending a forest: each person is a unique tree, and together we create a resilient, interconnected community.
Through empathy, servant leadership, and compassionate care, I strive to help caregivers and families feel rooted, supported, and empowered.
Who is Christabel Smith?
For over 25 years, I have worked across all levels of care—including nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, palliative care, and senior living communities. Like the deep roots of a tree, this breadth of experience grounds my practice in strength and resilience.
My expertise has branched outward nationally through presentations for organizations such as the National Association of Activity Professionals (NAAP) and the Pennsylvania Activity Professional Association (PAPA). I have also led an international webinar for CoWe-Best and served on a mental health panel at NAAP’s National Conference, representing long-term care.
